Cookie policy

What cookies and similar technologies MediGrow uses, what they do, and how to manage your preferences.

This Cookie Policy explains how MediGrow Technologies uses cookies and similar technologies on www.medigrow.co.in. Read this alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers the broader question of how we handle personal data.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that websites place on your browser to remember information about your visit. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and web beacons. For brevity, we use “cookies” in this policy to refer to all of these.

Cookies serve different purposes:

  • Strictly necessary cookies — required for the site to function (e.g., remembering your cookie-consent choice itself).
  • Functional cookies— remember your preferences (e.g., that you’ve dismissed an announcement bar).
  • Analytics cookies — measure how visitors use our site so we can improve content and structure.
  • Marketing cookies — used by advertising platforms for attribution and remarketing. We use these conservatively and never on sensitive healthcare content.

Categories we use

We use cookies in the following categories:

  • Strictly necessary: cookie-consent storage, session management, security tokens, and Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection on form submissions.
  • Functional: remembering dismissals (announcement bar dismissals, modal acknowledgments), and language/region preferences if you set them.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics 4 measures aggregated page-view traffic and content engagement. IP anonymization is enabled. Vercel Analytics collects similar aggregated performance signals.
  • Marketing/attribution: limited UTM tracking on inbound links and conversion measurement for our newsletter and lead-magnet funnels. We do not run behavioral retargeting on sensitive healthcare content (psychiatric care, fertility, oncology) — by deliberate policy.

Full cookie inventory

The cookies and storage entries you may encounter on this site:

Strictly necessary

  • cf_chl_* (Cloudflare Turnstile) — challenge tokens for bot protection on form submissions. Session-only.
  • cookie-consent — stores your cookie-consent choice. Persists for 12 months.

Functional

  • announcement-dismissed— remembers that you’ve closed an announcement bar. Persists for 7 days.

Analytics

  • _ga, _ga_* (Google Analytics 4) — distinguishes unique visitors. Persists for 14 months (configured retention).
  • _gid (Google Analytics) — distinguishes unique visitors over a 24-hour window. Persists for 24 hours.
  • _gat_* (Google Analytics) — throttles request rate. Persists for 1 minute.
  • Vercel Analytics — anonymous request-level telemetry, stored at the edge without identifiers.

Marketing / attribution

  • hubspotutk (HubSpot) — present only when you submit a form that routes to HubSpot. Used to associate the submission with the visitor session. Persists for 13 months.
  • UTM parameters on inbound links — captured to attribute the source of an inquiry. Stored in HubSpot once a form is submitted.

We do not deploy advertising-platform retargeting cookies (Meta Pixel, Google Ads remarketing tags, etc.) by default. If we add retargeting in the future, this inventory and the consent banner will be updated to reflect that change before any pixel is deployed.

Managing cookies in your browser

Beyond our consent banner, you can manage cookies at the browser level. Each browser has its own controls:

Note that blocking all cookies will affect site functionality. Strictly necessary cookies are required for forms to submit and for security features to work.

Third-party cookies

Some pages embed third-party content (e.g., the Cal.com discovery-call iframe). These third parties may set their own cookies subject to their own privacy policies. We have no direct control over those cookies, but we choose vendors with reasonable privacy practices.

Third-party cookie sources on this site:

Do Not Track signals

Some browsers send a Do Not Track (DNT) signal. The web standards around DNT are inconsistent and most analytics platforms do not honor it as a universal opt-out. We honor explicit choices made through our consent banner rather than DNT signals.

If you have privacy expectations beyond what the cookie banner addresses, contact us at hello@medigrow.co.in — we will accommodate reasonable requests.

Changes to this policy

We will update this Cookie Policy when we add or remove cookies, or when our processor list materially changes. Updates will be reflected in the “Last reviewed” date at the top of this page.

Material changes (new categories, new processors) will additionally trigger a consent-banner re-prompt so you can re-affirm your choices.
